Champion Personnel is looking for a 2nd Shift Mail Tech!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
o Must read work sheet for any production notes that may pertain to each job run.
o Must be able to setup configuration (layout template) for each product by picking the appropriate fields that must print for each customer.
o Pull in database and save with appropriate template to match the specific customer code. Match customer code with customer database.
o Setup feeder and conveyor guides to feed product straight to ensure print is in position to meet postal regulations. See postal template.
o Must run one off and proof customer code on piece with code in key code address. Make sure all fields print properly before running. Keep proof sample.
o Once everything is setup, reset list and run all.
o Setup all mail trays with tray tags and be able to sort mail into correct mail tray making certain mail pieces match tags and drop number.
o Strap bundles per postal specifications. No more than a 4" bundle when pieces do not fill mail tray. This will ensure that the product stays in carrier route order.
o Strap mail tray with sleeves. Stack mail skid neatly to transport to stage area.
o Cross off work sheet as complete customer.
o When product requires a magnet, scratch off, or wafer seal, you must be able to add machine to line and setup proper position for magnets, scratch offs, or seals.
o Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software that calculates the fold.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and less than one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
