CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE
Job Description
COUNSELS AND AIDS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO REQUIRE ASSISTANCE OF SOCIAL SERVICES AGANCIES, CLOTHING, HOUSING AND ASSISTANCE WITH FINANCES, AMONG OTHER ASSISTANCE. MUST DETERMINE DEGREE OF PROBLEMS AND ISSUES TO REFER CLIENTS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS THAT CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE. WILL ATTEND HEALTH FIARS AND OTHER EVENTS AS NECESSARY. WILL PROMOTOE A POSITIVE AND HELPFUL ENVIRONMENT FOR THE CLIENTS.PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. POSITION IS 30- 34 HOURS PER WEEK

Job Requirements
High School and 2 years of Client Services experience
BA / BS in Social Sciences or related field preferred
Must score Advanced Plus (Level 4+) or greater measured by the Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI) or American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (ASLPI) Familiarity with all language levels
Demonstrated knowledge of Deaf culture and spacial issues facing Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing consumers is required
Demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to Deaf, Deaf-Bling and Hard of Hearing consumers
Knowledge and ability to use technology that is needed to work with the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing community
Knowledge of Agency software programs
Strong organizational skills
Drug Screen and background check are required
