Purchasing / Inventory Clerk
Job Description
This position involves purchasing candy, ingredients, packaging, and any other items needed for manufacturing
- This person will:
- Monitor new sales orders and make sure that everything necessary to complete order are available for production, and if not, order as necessary
- Check inventory daily & maintain stock levels against customer forecasts and adjust as needed
- Work with suppliers to obtain pricing
- Accurately keep track of inventory levels on a daily basis by entering into the system what production uses and what new product comes in
- Day shift position / 8 hours per day Monday thru Friday / some flexibility in work schedule / In office position

Job Requirements
- Person must:
- Know how to use Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks and Sage 50 (Peachtree) software
- Have good data entry skills
- Have good customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be detail oriented
